Several restaurants and a shopping center are nearby, but we couldn’t hear the bustle from our room. It was surprisingly quiet. The room itself was lovely, with a very clean bedroom and bathroom, soft beds, and AC. Breakfast tasted great each day, with breads, yogurt, fruit, and pastries, including some homemade ones. We’d stay here again without hesitation. Claudio was wonderful. We arrived later than expected, and he waited for us and helped carry our bags to the room. He had a map ready with notes on how to get to Venice easily, and answered our public transit questions. When he heard we’d be checking out early, he also offered to prepare breakfast early. Thank you, Claudio!

The owners clearly pay attention to every detail, and the whole place is designed with good taste. It’s very close to the city centre and the bus station, and breakfast uses fresh, traditional ingredients. By far the most wonderful B&B stay we’ve had. I’d give it six stars if I could.

You can catch a tram or bus to Venice or the airport from a stop about a 5-minute walk away. This B&B is in what feels like the historic centre of Mestre, a nice part of town, though it’s not on the lagoon. Our room was clean and spacious, with a big comfy bed. Breakfast was really tasty, Italian-style with lots of sweet treats, but there was cheese, ham, and cereal too. We liked everything about this place.

Claudio, the host, was very helpful. It’s a really nice place in the middle of Mestre, only about 10 minutes from marco polo airport.
