B&B Colombo

We loved our four-night stay. The place was sparkling clean, modern while still keeping a traditional Italian spirit, and in a great location. The host was very helpful with all the necessary equipment and information. There’s also a great three-bedroom apartment for rent, and it’s superior. If I need to stay in Mestre again, I’ll definitely choose this place. 10/10. Search for Addler House!!!

The hosts were so warm-hearted, and the accommodation was clean, recently renovated, and had a great breakfast area. It’s perfectly located for both Mestre city center, just a two-minute walk, and a trip to Venice: one minute on foot to the tram, then a 10-minute ride for €1.50.

Katia has a great online local guide with restaurants and attractions, and it helped us find places to eat that didn’t disappoint. I’d highly recommend this B&B. The rooms are spotless and very nicely decorated, and check-in was easy. Katia speaks plenty of English, so we could communicate well, since my Italian isn’t very good. Our room had a shower, with a toilet and another shower down the hall. Both were clean and well stocked. The kitchen was clean too, with tea, coffee, and a little cookie jar. Fresh fruit was available, which was great. Breakfast was a typical Italian spread of croissants, juice, tea or coffee, plus yogurt, bread, sliced meats and cheese. On our last day there was cheesecake, and one day she also served boiled eggs.

Clean place, friendly people, and an amazing host. There wasn’t any cheese at breakfast, though depending on how long you’ve been in Italy, that might be a good thing.
