The location and coffee machine were the only real positives for me. The room was tiny, and the unstable double bed barely fit two people. Half our bodies seemed to hang off it, and the frame sat higher than the mattress, making it really uncomfortable. The ventilation was awful and there was always a bad smell. We didn't dare open the window because of the trains and traffic. There’s no AC, just a fan that wasn’t enough. There are lots of rooms but only two bathrooms that were relatively okay, and they were always occupied in the early morning. The kitchen was fine and well equipped, but breakfast was very poor.

The apartment has all the amenities you could need, right across from Venice Mestre train station. Alberto, aka Yukuyuku, was a phenomenal host and offered drinks, snacks, and breakfast if we wanted them. Perfect stay, highly recommend!

The location is excellent for getting to the island. We did get bed bugs, which I presume the guest before us brought in. Franco moved us to another room the next day. I think that room was okay, though I was still itchy. TIP: take the bus. For some reason nobody pays, so just hop on at the back and save some money.

It’s close to Venezia Mestre railway station, making it easy to get into Venezia City.

The host is great. The only issue was the hot water for the shower.
