Hotel Antico Moro

The hotel is a bit far from Venice, but there’s a commuting bus stop right next to it. The room was spacious and clean, though it needs renovation, and the daily cleaning could be better. Breakfast was basic. The staff are friendly, but some people we spoke with seemed less hospitality-minded than others.

The bus stop right outside made it easy to reach the historic center in a short ride, even though the hotel isn’t in the center of Venice. We had a great two-night stay. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed, and the rooms were comfortable and spotless. The service was outstanding. Highly recommended for easy access to Venice, comfort, and great hospitality.

Our family of four, including our kids aged 8 and 11, had a fantastic stay. We drove and could park at the hotel, in spaces behind it. The spacious family room worked well for us, and having the adjacent restaurant/pizzeria made dining out easy and enjoyable. The owner was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions. We bought bus tickets right at the hotel and caught the bus at the stop in front. Getting to Venice was simple and stress-free.

Hotel antico moro worked really well as a base for visiting venice. It’s not on the islands, but it’s quieter here and the bus stop is right beside the hotel for trips over there. Friendly staff and very nice accommodation.
