The rooms are much bigger than what I've seen in the average European hotel, and the location in Maestre saved me a lot compared with staying on the island. The train station is just around the corner, and a ride to the island takes about 10 minutes and costs €1,50 each way. There's a convenience store very close by, plus some great places to eat around the hotel. Big fan of the place, and I'd definitely recommend it for a Venice trip.

The room we booked as accessible (PMR) turned out to be hard to get around in with a wheelchair. The staff were kind, quick to help, and moved us straight into a larger room that suited our needs much better. We really appreciated that. The hotel was clean and well located, and breakfast was good. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly during our Venice stay. We'd happily return and recommend it.

We ended up enjoying our stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Venice Mestre even more than Venice itself. Reception were always pleasant and ready to help, and everyone we met at the hotel was exceptional. We stayed seven nights, couldn't fault it, and our room got a thorough clean every day. Bedding was changed every 2-3 days. The station is just around the corner for trains into Venice, with a return fare of 3.00 euros. The airport bus also stops there. We paid a little extra for a superior room and got some nice touches: dressing gowns, slippers, and complimentary water and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast started at 7am, with salad, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, cheese, meats, cakes, and cooked food. There was something for everyone. A couple of times bus tours made the restaurant crowded, but they were gone by 8am. The restaurant team, both servers and kitchen staff, did a brilliant job clearing tables and keeping the food stations stocked.

I only stayed one night at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Venice Mestre and mostly used it to leave my luggage and sleep, but it was a comfortable, pleasant stop. After a long day of travel, the modern, cozy feel made it easy to relax. My room was clean, well kept, and had what I needed. Restaurants, cafes, and small shops are nearby, and the hotel is a convenient distance from Venezia Mestre station for getting to the mainland or central Venice. Staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and they shared useful local information. Guest comfort seemed to matter to them. I'd recommend it for a short stopover or travel connection near Mestre station.

Such a cozy place inside, with a really clean room and super sweet staff. The train station is right nearby, so Venice takes about 10 minutes to reach, and Verona is easy to get to too. I don't know what the bad reviews are about, my stay was super good! I'd recommend it without a doubt and stay here again next time I'm in Venice. Thanks! ❤️
