10/10
The location by the water is gorgeous, and it was lovely sitting outside. It’s a short walk from the bus stop, and a reasonable walk from the train station if you don’t have very heavy luggage. The hotel itself is beautiful. My room was spacious, with a soft, comfy bed, a great shower, a big desk and chair, and a large mirror. It was cleaned well, and they promptly replaced the toilet paper, instant coffee and other supplies. I could check in at 1 pm, two hours before the usual 3 pm time, and the friendly desk staff helped me several times with directions and buses. The cleaning staff were very nice too, and deserve kudos for staying cheerful in such hard work. Breakfast had a good selection, and they refilled things quickly. I loved the desserts, especially the little panna cotta and tiramisu cups. My one negative: a bar staff member seemed unwilling to give me milk and ignored me three times while serving other customers. Another worker kindly got me some; I know they had milk, and it took about 20 seconds. I realize adding milk to coffee isn’t the norm in Italy, but it was still a disappointing interaction. Call it 4.9/5, I’d recommend it.

A really positive stay. The hotel and staff were very nice, and two different bus lines nearby went straight into Venice. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The event was a great success, and the staff were incredibly kind. Getting around, though, wasn’t very convenient: the hotel is in the middle of an industrial area, and the only bus to Mestre station and Venice center doesn’t run very often.

The bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the room was nicer than at the three star hotels in Venice. I did get a complimentary upgrade through my platinum card. The room was cleaned very well each day, and I had a good time there. The hotel itself isn’t well located for Venice, even though bus 43 stops right outside and goes there. It only runs Monday to Friday, and the last bus back from Venice leaves quite early in the late afternoon. If you stay out later, you’ll need bus 2 or 7. Those buses were usually full, and in summer it wouldn’t be an enjoyable ride. I recommend the hotel, but keep the location drawback in mind. If you want to enjoy Venice nightlife, I’d strongly recommend booking on the island rather than in Mestre.

On the Mestre side, the hotel is in a good spot, not far from a big supermarket where you can pick up things to enjoy in your room. The staff were helpful, the room was nice and fully equipped, and there’s a large underground parking area for guests who drive. There are Japanese restaurants and buffets nearby, and the hotel restaurant has good food choices too.
