Zen Residence 2 Venezia

The room was spacious and had a refrigerator, bottled water, sparkling wine, and large mirrors, but there was no luggage rack. There were only two hangers, the floor was quite dirty, and the TV only worked with Netflix or paid programs. The private external bathroom was new and had shampoo, shower gel, soap, and toilet paper, but it was small, about 1.50 m2, and its floor hadn’t been cleaned well either. The towel warmer was dusty, and was the only place to put clothes or towels. The doors were hard to close. It’s a 10-minute walk from the train station. I wouldn’t recommend the walk for women on their own, especially in the evening. I hope I was just unlucky. Mrs. Nicoletta was very kind, though she didn’t speak much Italian. I only met her when I arrived, then left my keys on the dresser when I checked out. She asked me not to call and to contact her only by WhatsApp messages. I couldn’t book a double room for single use, and the value for money was poor.

No champagne, but it’s good value for the price.

Really enjoyed it, and the welcome was good.

Excellent place!
