Breakfast is set up for guests to serve themselves, with tea bags, a kettle, milk in the fridge, and packaged pastries. There’s also a coffee machine with a few Nespresso-compatible capsules and a kitchenette with pots and pans. The new apartment is right in the heart of Venosa, a short walk from the cathedral and about ten minutes from the castle. It’s furnished with good taste and has all the comforts.

The location is excellent, and the bathroom was clean. It was shared with the other room, though luckily nobody was staying there when we arrived. Our room was small, with retro, makeshift furnishings. I booked at the last minute after seeing a Booking.com price that included breakfast. When we got there, the owner said breakfast wasn't included, despite us paying the same amount as on Booking.com. There wasn't even a bottle of water in the fridge in mid-August, and the owner didn't try to get one.

Breakfast was at the main café just a few steps away, and the house is right in the center. Rocco greeted us so warmly and kindly. The place was spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, and had every comfort. We’ll definitely come back.

For our group of six adults, we were given two mini apartments. Both were new, modern, thoughtfully designed, and had all the comforts. The owners deserve credit for the service and especially for keeping everything so clean.
