The sunset from the terrace is gorgeous, and our dog even had a little garden of her own. The place is clean and nicely decorated, though the rooms are basic, as you’d expect from a two-star resort. The walk to the main square takes about 10 minutes going there and around 20 minutes back uphill, so keep that in mind. My only real gripe was the lack of a proper bar. When we stayed, they only had bottles of prosecco.

Breakfast on the terrace was such a nice way to start the day, with the cove and beautiful sea right in front of us. At night you could see the distant coastline lights. Mr. Andrea was so helpful with all our requests, and the woman looking after breakfast and housekeeping was always kind and ready to help too. Our room was welcoming and clean, with air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. We had a wonderful weekend at Belvedere and loved the quiet feeling the island gives you, like everyday worries just fade away. The Santa Candida celebrations, for the island's patron saint, made the short break feel almost mystical and really special.

The terrace was lovely at any time, with the greenery and cliffs around it and the clear sea below. Breakfast there was excellent, and the sunsets felt like a dream. Our room was comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and a fan, though it gets a bit warm without them. Mr. Andrea was kind and helpful, and made getting to and from the island much easier for us. The woman who takes care of various jobs at the hotel was also accommodating and kind whenever we needed something.

Andrea is really the heart of this hotel, always polite, kind, and there when you need him. He makes the place feel especially welcoming, along with the island itself. A real asset to the property. And that terrace is fantastic. I recommend having breakfast with the view.
