Camping La Quiete di Bertinotti Edo

Two nights came to 84€, which was far too much for me. The owner wasn’t polite either. I don’t see why anyone would camp here.

There’s a separate beach for dogs, so the furry ones can play, and the lake is lovely for SUP. The pitches are spacious, the facilities are kept very clean, and hot water is free. It’s also close to cycling and hiking routes. A great site.

There’s a small beach right on lake mergozzo, with steps where you can sit and mountains in the background. The site is mostly Dutch and German, and has a bar, restaurant, and little market. Toilets and showers are great, the grounds are tidy, and everyone was very friendly. As the name says, it’s a lovely campsite. I’ll definitely come back.

We’ve had to listen to a small domestic mower running for two straight days while a man cuts the grass in the huge field. I uploaded photos of him doing it. My family and I are staying at Camping Continental next door, which is excellent, and it’s been hard to ignore. He’s clearly been told to mow this enormous area with a machine that’s completely unsuitable and far too small. This is tantamount to slavery, and we’ll be notifying the authorities. For moral and humane reasons, you shouldn’t stay at this campsite.
