Conca d'Oro Camping & Lodge

The mountains made a beautiful backdrop, and the views from our pitch by the lake were stunning. Even over Easter, the team did their best to place us near the water despite the weather. We had dinner at the main restaurant on our first evening, where we enjoyed the food and the good range of wines. We stayed at Conca D’Oro Camping and are already thinking about coming back in summer. I’d suggest booking a beach view pitch, as being closer to the front gives you better lake views.

We tried two kinds of stay, spending two nights on a lakeside camping pitch and three in a mini river lodge. Both spots had lovely views and were surrounded by wildlife. The pool is new and very child friendly, and the lake and pool were both good for cooling off. Staff at the restaurants and bars were helpful, and the prices seemed reasonable. It’s a good value place to stay in a beautiful area.

We stayed in a glamping tent that was well equipped and very clean. The campsite is spacious, with good sized pitches, plenty of shade, and modern, spotless bathrooms. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature too. It offers trips and entertainment, though it was still quiet. It’s handy for visiting the west side of the lake and the popular attractions. The road is nearby, but we barely heard it at night. The restaurants had good pizza; I can’t comment on the rest of the menu. The mini market had nice ice cream, good coffee, cold drinks, and groceries. I’d recommend it.

The lake was right outside our Mini Lodge Lake View, and we loved the views. It was also a great spot for swimming and paddleboarding. Inside, everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, with electricity, a fridge, and a microwave. We arrived late in the evening but were greeted warmly and allowed to drive in. The campsite’s showers and toilets were spotless and well kept, and having a restaurant, bar, and small shop on site was convenient. As a couple, we found it peaceful and welcoming, and would happily return.
