Friendly staff, a stone beach, the radio festival, and a kiosk selling food and drinks. There’s a tucked-away parking spot below street level.

Really nice people and quick, great service. This is the spot for an evening Aperolspritz!

Getting there can be a hassle because parking is the one real drawback. Its distance from the center does mean it's not always busy, though. The beach has both grass and pebbles, with shade from the trees and bridge. The water drops off deep by the bridge and stays shallow along the rest. There's a well-run bar for lunch, dinner, or aperitifs, plus rentals for lounge chairs, sun loungers, and umbrellas.

It could be a lovely beach, but it feels badly neglected. Scrub and brambles take up space that would be useful when it's crowded, and the tall grass hasn't been cut for weeks. There was dirt and dog feces everywhere, because of the owners, obviously, not the dogs. There's even a snake roaming around in the lake. Such a shame.

There are both shady and sunny spots to sit, and free parking too. It's close to Lake Maggiore, with a great beach for swimming. The staff were really friendly and the service was quick and attentive. The food was perfect, all freshly prepared.
