The spiders and crickets in the bedroom were the last straw for us. After our first night, we woke to six spiders and five crickets, hiked down the mountain, found somewhere else to stay, and checked out that same day. We’d been hoping for a relaxing break, but when we arrived the key was in a box and we never met or saw the host. There were no taxis to or from the property, and no review had mentioned needing a car. We had to hike back up the mountain with our shopping bags. You’ll 100% need a car here, and you shouldn’t be afraid of spiders 🤣

The view and location were the best parts, and the pool area was lovely and comfortable. But we stayed in August and the rooms had no air conditioning or fan, so it was very hot and I really suffered. I was also a bit disappointed by the strict toilet paper limit: for five people staying two nights, we were given two rolls and couldn't get more. We hadn't known about that.

The view was nice, but the room was a letdown. It didn't look as luxurious as the online pictures, and lots of things were broken or coming off the walls, especially in the bathroom. The shower fell off the wall, there was no air conditioning, and one bedroom had no curtains. We could hear everything through the thin walls, with noisy teenagers hanging around day and night. At about €225 a night, it felt ridiculous. One of our worst stays ever, wouldn't recommend.

This was just what we were looking for on our first night in Italy. A nice room, friendly people, and plenty of grills for cooking. Amazing place, all good, I can recommend it.

The lake view was beautiful, and the apartment was very nice. The host was kind and everything was in order.
