We stayed one night in early August 2024 while travelling north. The hotel and city were quite empty, and I believe spring is the main season. The location was decent, about a 10-minute walk to the city center, and the price was reasonable for what you get. Staff were friendly and gave good restaurant tips, and parking was free. The rooms felt quite old, with poor noise insulation, and the aircon didn’t work very well. Cleanliness could have been better too. The interior design was a bit weird. :)

Inside, this small hotel looks much better than you might expect from the street. It has a strategic location and a good car park in a large courtyard. The price is relatively low, and everything was very clean and fully functional. The owners and reception were friendly and did all they could for guests. Breakfast was served in the room. I studied architecture, and liked the lively Italian pop colors from the 90s in the room design. The owners should stick with that consistent look and replace only defective parts, despite any complaints. The lift was broken, but I’m a climber, so I didn’t need one. :)

The rooms were really warm, which was welcome in winter, and breakfast was included. The reception was kind, helpful, and welcoming, and the owner was really nice too. It’s a walk into the centre, but the hotel isn’t too far away. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Vercelli.

The manager and staff were fantastic, very accommodating, and went out of their way to make my stay great. I gave the place five stars, though it’s rated as a three-star hotel, and that’s what it is in terms of facilities. I don’t mean that as a criticism: if you want a three-star hotel, this is great, as good as you could ask for. Just don’t expect five-star facilities. Highly recommended.
