La Casa di Edoardo

The host is a lovely, friendly gentleman who was keen to suggest restaurants, and the place is reasonably situated, about a 10-15 minute walk from groceries, restaurants, and some lovely streets. There’s a shared kitchen with a microwave, oven, and fridge, plus a shared washing machine and room to dry clothes on the balcony. The balcony looks straight at a wall, but it does give you a little outdoor space. In the room, the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, and the towels were really nice. There’s a coffee pod machine with lots of varieties, and the small fridge had fruit nectar and bottled water. The mattress needs replacing: one side slopes enough that one of us had to sleep in the middle and the other near the edge. The pillows were only so-so. The advertised breakfast was just a bowl of little individually wrapped sponge cakes, not filling or nutritious. They said this was due to Covid, though everyone else so far has served breakfast. They also advertise a bar, but there isn’t one.
