Camere Fontanavecchia

A great bed and pillow, and everything was super clean and quiet. The sea is nearby, and the station is 3 minutes away, with the center about 5 minutes away. I don't regret choosing this place or this town as our base in Cinque Terre.

The room is plain, but really clean, practical, and comfortable. There's no air conditioning, though the hillside gets a nice breeze with the window open, and they also provided an electric fan. They left us water, beach towels, tea bags, a water boiler, soap, shampoo, and bathroom towels. The family who own the place live on the top floor and were so sweet and accommodating. We had a great stay. It's easy to get around town from here, and the spot up the hill is quieter and less crowded. There's a little cafe across the street, a winery around the corner, and pesto-making classes at a bar and the train station are within a minute. In this small town, the center is just three minutes away.

The staff were friendly and really helpful. It's about 2 minutes from the station, and the train noise didn't bother us. There's a lovely river nearby, and the marina is around 5 minutes away in this small town. The rooms were clean, though old. The bathroom had no window and was quite humid.

My mother and I stayed here in August 2015, and we loved both the room and the location. The beds were comfortable, and although we could walk to everything, it was still quiet. We had wonderful views from our room, everything was clean, and the other guests were friendly and encouraged everyone to mingle. Annamaria and her daughter were lovely and very helpful. We'll definitely come back.
