The main hiking routes are right by Maduneta: the Sentiro Azul toward Vernazza, and the other trail that climbs through the hills and vineyards toward Manarola. We also enjoyed La Posada, where we ate both nights, along with the nearby cafes. Corniglia and all of Cinque Terre are wonderful, and our host Massimiliano was especially helpful and accommodating with our family. He stored our luggage, adjusted the rooms, and shared information.

During our Cinque Terre hike, we stayed at this amazing hotel. Our room, Piccabon, had an incredible view, and Massimiliano made us feel right at home. We also bought local wine that Massimiliano provided, and it was delicious.

Max, Laura, and the team made our stay with their incredible service. We loved the charming room and magical patio, and it was a perfect place to relax after a busy vacation day. Restaurants and shops are nearby, and getting to the other Cinque Terre villages is easy. We only wish we could've stayed for a week. Grazie to Max and the team, and we'll see you next time!

Massimiliano even helped us sort out a travel change for the next leg of our itinerary, well beyond anything to do with our stay in Cinque Terre. His knowledge of the area and caring, hospitable manner helped us resolve the problem, and our plans continued without a hitch. We spent two nights at Madüneta 5 Terre in the Sesagra -Superior Double Room with Private Garden. The room was artistic, beautiful, and very comfortable, with lovely garden views, privacy, and a great atmosphere. The renovation materials showed meticulous attention to detail. It’s away from the crowds, but easy to reach on the frequent bus from Corniglia train station. Massimiliano greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here!

The location worked really well, close to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails, with lovely views of the surrounding nature. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome and shared useful local tips. We had a fantastic stay at Madüneta 5 Terre Guesthouse and can't wait to come back!
