Rina Rooms

For one night, the simple room did what we needed. It had a bed, a tiny bathroom, and a coffee machine, and it’s well located in vernazza. The owner replied quickly and sent a video showing how to find it. The service is minimal, but the location is great and the price decent. This is a small, very touristy village, so don’t expect much. We did hear a lot of noise when the people in the other room left at 5am, though that was just bad luck.

The owner let us leave our luggage in the hallway after check-out, which was appreciated. The place is thoughtfully set up, with good use of space and nice touches like a kettle, coffee machine, and other extras. It’s away from the noisy main street but only 2 min from the train station. The steep, narrow staircase may be the only downside, though that’s common in old towns.

The room was lovely and had what we needed, including coffee, tea, and a private bathroom. It really is right in the center of this small town, just as advertised. I didn’t realize before booking how many stairs some places in Vernazzza can involve. We met a very elderly couple who had well over a hundred steps to get to their room, so they could manage only one trip up a day. That wasn’t the case at Rinas rooms, where there were very few stairs. If stairs are a concern, ask the host before booking. I’d book here again if I’m lucky enough to return to Cinque Terre.

For our group of six, it was just about perfect, though we could have used a second bathroom. Andrea was incredibly helpful, the view was fantastic, and the location was very convenient.
