L’Ecce Sphero was a great base for driving along the Puglia coast and stopping at beaches. Mario suggested several places, all 10-30 minutes away. He and his wife put so much care into looking after guests. Everything served was local or from the property, and our first breakfast was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with great coffee. Mario showed us our room in detail, welcomed us with cappuccinos in the evening, and paid attention to what we needed throughout the stay. We felt right at home. We’d recommend it to anyone travelling in Puglia!

Mario and his wife made our holiday such an enjoyable one. Their B&B sits in a lush garden filled with fruit trees and all sorts of shrubs, and some of the fruit turns up at breakfast, freshly picked or made into homemade marmalade. The regional pastries are baked daily too. Beaches and nature reserves are both within 15 minutes, so the location is very convenient. A wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend it. Thanks to our hosts for having us!

Breakfast was made by Mario and his wife each morning and served outside in their garden, such a nice way to start the day. Our room was perfect, with a big balcony where we could watch the sunset. They were wonderfully welcoming, and we felt at home right away. We’ll definitely return!
