That ridiculously comfortable bed was a lovely surprise, and the friendly cleaners and free snacks were nice too. It’s a calm, comfortable place, with great restaurants nearby and an easy morning walk to the main sights. For me, the comfort and location were the best parts.

The place has a lovely, elegant feel, and my room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. There are four rooms in the apartment. I liked the smart lights, which let me pick a setting with one touch, and the TV built into the mirror above the desk. The minibar was included, and there was a coffee machine with capsules, plus peanuts, snacks and cookies. No breakfast, since this is a guesthouse rather than a B&B. I was in Rome for work and arrived late, but getting in was no problem even without a reception. A QR code sent by email opened the outer, inner, apartment and room doors, each with its own reader, so I could come and go whenever I wanted. The guesthouse is just steps from Piazza del Popolo. You couldn’t ask for a better option.

We’d book here again in a heartbeat. It’s a modern, quiet spot on a side street near Piazza del Popolo, so it feels central without the noise. The room was new and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a rain shower. Check-in was easy with a QR code for the room key. A couple of small things: there’s no place to leave luggage after checkout, and the shower had body soap but no shampoo. Mille Grazie!
