Villa Conca Marco

Set in the countryside around Vernole and its hamlets, the property is a few kilometers from Torre dell'Orso and San Foca. The spacious rooms were clean, and there’s a big pool with loungers and gazebos for relaxing on site. There’s also a special offer at a beach resort a few minutes away by car. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was mediocre but adequate, and breakfast was much the same, fine but nothing memorable. The prices were excellent.

We felt at home thanks to Vincenzo, Sirio, and the whole team, who were always courteous and ready to help. It's a peaceful place with a family feel. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the very large pool was well cared for. The food was excellent and generous, with a different menu each evening. Although the property isn't right by the sea, its location makes it easy to drive around to the villages, towns, and many beaches, all with their own character. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Dinner was excellent, though the side dishes lacked variety and seemed to be fries every time. I'd gladly come back. The atmosphere was pleasant and the pool was clean. Our room was very spacious for four, with two bathrooms. A few things could use attention: the handles and soap dish, towel racks damaged by detergents, and dusty closet hangers. Breakfast was adequate, with two pastries each, but the coffee could be better.

The owners are truly wonderful people, and the staff were helpful, capable, professional, and close-knit. They made us feel right at home. The food was SUBLIME, incredibly fresh and varied, with a different menu every night. I was unsure about taking this trip since it was our first one after our daughter was born and she's 18 months old, but I changed my mind completely. It was the best vacation of my life, and I'd take this trip again and again.
