Il Melograno

The owner was very welcoming and gave us tips on places to visit and restaurants nearby. The room was pleasant, with the basic amenities and Netflix, which is handy if you enjoy films and TV. The location also worked well for exploring Veroli’s historic center, with car and bus parking close by, especially useful with luggage. Some things listed in our booking, including a kettle, fruit, and cookies, weren’t there, perhaps because the site information hadn’t been updated. There was no daily housekeeping either. We visited in warmer weather but still felt cold drafts at the doors and windows. The heating was a little outdated, though it did work. At this price, those extras would have made the place feel more welcoming.

I needed a room at the last minute for one night, and the kind lady found a way to accommodate me and help with everything. The building is historic and well organized, right in the town center, and the room was nice and fully equipped. It felt cold at first, but the radiator made it comfortable. It worked perfectly for me, and I’d come back.

I’ve stayed overnight in Veroli for work many times, and this has been just right. The owner is kind, attentive, and available without hovering, and she’s happy to share whatever local information you need. It’s right in the heart of town. The rooms are roomy and carefully kept, with their own bathrooms and everything needed. And the cleanliness is hard to miss: everything is disinfected, spotless, and smells fresh. She really does seem unable to leave a speck of lint behind.

The owner, Maria, was warm and courteous, and breakfast came with plenty of typical local products. The B&B is clean, welcoming, and furnished with good taste. It’s in the lovely medieval village of Veroli, surrounded by an enchanting landscape. We’ll certainly come back, and I recommend it.
