Alle Porte Del Centro

The owners were helpful, though I never actually met them. When we arrived, there was water, juice, and a full breakfast kit. The house had everything for cooking, including a coffee machine and oven, as well as personal care items like shampoo, shower gel, and towels. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t return to Verona either. The apartment was in a basement with a strong mold smell, especially at the entrance. The bathroom, shower, and bidet were tiny, and I’m not sure someone with a larger build could have washed comfortably. The stops were nearby, but buses didn’t always come, particularly in the evening. Getting from the station was a lottery: it was hard to know which bus would take us there, and in the end it dropped us about 20 minutes away. That’s not the property’s fault, but the drivers should be taught a lesson. They sped like crazy and took some frightening turns. That’s just my personal opinion. Verona is nice, but it didn’t excite me.

There’s enough room for two, and it was very clean. I’d recommend it.

Basically, it’s a furnished cellar.
