We chose it after reading the reviews and seeing it was close to five stars. The staff stayed late to check us in, which was helpful, and there's a great cocktail bar around the corner for a final drink at the end of the day. It's very central: a couple of minutes from Piazza de Erbe, five minutes from Julieta's house, 14 minutes from the Arena, and a 30-minute walk from the train and bus station. Our room was okay, though not as impressive as the photos, and it had an unpleasant stagnant-water smell. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room and bed were tidied daily, but our towels weren't changed. The toilet and shower were clean and had toiletries, though we had to ration them because they weren't replaced. The stairs up to the flat are a bit steep, so it may not suit people with mobility issues. No one was around during our stay. There's a private bathroom and shower beside the bedroom, plus a shared area with a fridge and stoves that we assumed we could use. Don't expect many facilities.

The room was really nice, and we had a good stay.
