We arrived in the afternoon, rang the bell, and were shown to our room pretty quickly. It's an affordable place in Verona, with a charming interior and a simple breakfast. The city is about a 20-minute walk away, though the bus makes getting there easy.

Fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep. It was clean, though it didn't have much atmosphere. Breakfast was very sweet: packaged toast, yogurt, sugar rolls, madeleines, and chocolate croissants.

Definitely wouldn't recommend it. I cancelled three days before check-in and should have been charged 49 Euro, but they took the full booking amount instead. The property gave no explanation and didn't reply to any of my emails.

Not even worth one star! I called the owner and spoke to a woman who couldn't speak English. She told me the price was "one...five" per night. When we arrived, a man said it was one hundred fifty. I was confused, but the owner didn't ask whether I wanted to stay. She just kicked me out. Discrimination, contempt, and rudeness! If you're not European, especially if you're from Asia, don't go there!

The place was really nice and very clean. We booked the same day and texted the number. The lady got back to us, even though it was late. A pleasant stay, though the place was a little basic.
