Bed Breakfast Di Mara E Stefano

The room was spotless, and the owner was friendly.

I was there on a work trip, though I’d love to come back for a few days among the vineyards. Stefano and Mara’s B&B is welcoming and very clean. We didn’t get the chance to meet Mara, but Stefano looked after every detail and was attentive to what guests needed. Breakfast was generous and organic, with delicious croissants and muffins, and he catered for gluten-free and vegan diets. He’s also lovely company and knows some particularly charming, unusual places in the Verona he loves.

I’d never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and the service really surprised me. The room was clean and furnished in a modern style, and breakfast was simple but excellent. The price felt completely fair, too. Stefano, the owner, was one of the most welcoming hosts I’ve met: kind, polite, and helpful. It’s a great base for seeing the city. Walking takes about 25-30 minutes, while driving takes around 15.

The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to, and the B&B is near both Verona’s center and the train station. We stayed for two nights. Our rooms had been renovated and came with very modern technology. The owners were warm and hospitable, taking care with whatever guests needed. Stefano and Mara made such an effort that we still think of the trip with a smile.
