Butterfly Boutique Rooms

The female owner came across as rather brash and unfriendly. The bathroom was roomy, but putting a bathtub in the sleeping area made little sense. The place focuses too much on design and misses practical basics like a closet, enough hangers, and hooks for towels. I'd save the money and choose a real hotel.

It was our first stop in Europe, and I'd forgotten my phone converter at home. The owners immediately lent us an adaptor, and two days later they left a Dyson straightener in the room for me. Such a thoughtful touch, and I really appreciated being able to use it. We were wowed by the staff and owners, and the room was huge, elegant, and had a very comfortable bed. I can't imagine finding somewhere else in Verona that feels this charming and welcoming.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Verona this February, and we both slept wonderfully. We're picky about bedding and getting a good night's rest, and the comfortable, thoughtfully arranged room delivered. Every detail felt high quality. The hotel was well run, and the rooms were lovely.

The reception was warm and personal, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It feels somewhere between a luxury hotel and a luxury Airbnb. We happened to meet the owner a couple of times. On Sunday, he went out of his way to get us a taxi, biking over to the nearby taxi stand because we had a lot of luggage.
