We had a few romantic nights in my single man tent, with gorgeous views that felt like something from a medieval dream. The customer service was out the wazoo, and we loved being there. A bottle of traditional wine with those splendid night views really sets the mood. We’ve got a beautiful boy on the way because of the stay, and I’ll be returning!

The campsite is lovely, with amazing panoramic views of Verona at sunset and sunrise. It’s just a few minutes from the castle St Peter and the city. There were several free spaces when we visited, but we had a reservation and would recommend booking ahead, especially in season. The reception lady was kind and helpful. Bathrooms had hot water, WiFi reached all around the camping, and there’s a bar plus shared areas to relax and charge devices when it rains. Parking on the grounds costs extra, though there’s free street parking in front. We visited off season and found a spot easily.

The terraces and setting are really cool, and it’s close to town. The staff were all great and super nice. But this is the most expensive campsite I’ve come across in Europe, and the bathrooms and showers are disgusting and very old. For the price, those facilities are inexcusable. Maybe they’d be acceptable at half the cost.

A lovely view over Verona and a 15-20min walk to the city centre made this a perfect base for visiting. The campsite sits in an old castell/fortress among old trees, with camper van spots tucked beside historic brick walls. The toilets and showers were clean, and there’s an outdoor cooking area. We stopped for one night on our way further south and had a short visit to Verona. The atmosphere is incredible, and the staff are super friendly.

We stayed one night while on a bike tour and would come back. It felt closer to a 4.5 than a 4, and I’d recommend it. Verona’s views are top notch, and the campsite is perfectly located. The friendly staff, good WiFi, and great kitchen and hangout area for tenters were all nice. The camping spots are spread around the grounds, and you can switch pitch depending on what’s available. Showers were okay.
