San Leonardo Suites

It's a quiet, renovated place, around a 10-minute walk from Ponte Pietra. Don't count on parking onsite, though. There seem to be only a few spaces for many rooms, and they're usually full. Street parking is available in the blue-line spaces, and paying is easy with the APP or the machine just around the corner on the same street. The streets are narrow, so stopping to load or unload is difficult. Reception is open from 2-6pm.

We had a very good five-night stay, from Sunday to Friday, and would definitely recommend it. Anna welcomed us warmly, communicated clearly, and gave us lots of helpful details. She even showed us how the parking worked, which put our minds at ease. If you arrive late, they send a detailed step-by-step email beforehand. A kind gentleman whose name I unfortunately don't know helped with breakfast each morning and kept our room spotless. It was big and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, though the pillows were quite thin. There were enough coat hangers. The street got a little noisy in the morning, but closing the window kept almost all the sound out, and the sunshades made an afternoon nap easy. The bathroom was spacious, with shampoo, shower gel, and a shower cap, and it was cleaned daily. They even made the bed each time, despite my not making it up to their standards :P. Breakfast was nice, with croissants, bread rolls, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, tea, coffee, cereals, American pancakes, sweets, and natural juice. Some things were really good, others just okay, depending on your taste. There's a small kitchenette, so the food is brought in from elsewhere. The coffee could be a little better, at least for us. The location was very good, about 15 minutes from some key city-centre attractions, and handy for getting out of town, for example to Lago di Garda.

The place was clean, extremely comfortable, and well situated. The staff were really helpful.

We’ve stayed at San Leonardo Suites several times now. The suites feel very current both inside and out, and there’s loads of room. A pleasant bridge walk gets you into the center of Verona in just a few minutes. I’d choose a balcony suite for the view and a glass of wine in the evening.
