There’s a shared outdoor area where you can relax before bed. Nearby are a small shop for food and drinks and an excellent dinner spot. Breakfast is available each day if you want it, with gluten-free options. The rooms are clean, with nice bathrooms and air conditioning. The owners are incredibly friendly and ready with advice. When the air conditioner broke, they fixed the problem that same day. They’re always there if you need help, and you can use two bikes for free. Verona is about a 10-minute bus ride away, and the Verona bus app is useful. For the trip back after 8:30 PM, I’d suggest a taxi, which costs around €12. Walking along the road between the city and the B&B is dangerous, so take a taxi. Don’t blindly trust Google Maps walking routes, since some areas may be private property. Biking outside the city might sound appealing, but the hills are steep enough that you may end up pushing your bike for long stretches.

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed it. The room was very clean and tidy, and I found the bed comfortable. It’s away from the city center, which I actually liked, though others might not recommend walking there. I did walk, and there’s also a bus stop nearby if you prefer. I didn’t see much of the owners because I got back late, but thanks to Paolo & Flavio!

Bus #23 gets you almost to the door, and there’s plenty of free parking nearby if you drive. We also found two really good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The couple running the hotel were lovely and polite, and it was very clean. Breakfast was tasty and enough for me, and having a fridge in the room was especially handy. I’d have given it five stars, but the shower nozzle leaked badly and the tub wouldn’t drain properly. I think those problems should be easy to fix. Still, we had a very pleasant stay.

The family room came to €97 including tax, so I can’t really complain about the price. Service was great, and the area felt safe. The hotel was excellent, though the beds weren’t comfortable, especially after a long drive.
