The room is big, and the shutters block out all the light. But the central heating barely worked, and the AC wasn't enough to warm the room properly. There's no kettle or fridge, and the owner dismissed my concerns about that. The area also felt dodgy, which made having to wait around and use an internet connection to get in and out feel dangerous. The doors rely on a link. If your internet stops working, you can get locked out. The property is behind a gate, and the links often failed when I tried to leave too. I ended up jumping the fence or waiting for someone to happen to open it. The owner never came to greet me, despite Italian law stating someone should be present to greet the host. She was also rude and gaslighting, as seen in the screenshot.

It was a traumatising experience, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through it. My reservation had been confirmed, and there was no notice about any cut-off time for arrivals. The messages I got were just automated online check-in instructions. But when I reached the place around 1 am in cold weather, the link didn't work and I discovered the reservation had been cancelled without notice. I was left with nowhere to stay. Nearby hotels were full, and it took me an hour to find somewhere, quite far away. Afterward, the owner sent rude messages accusing me of using a “fake” card. Please avoid this place if you might arrive late.

The email didn't explain the arrangements clearly, and nothing essential had been prepared in the room. I was travelling with my 62-year-old mother, and there was nowhere to leave our luggage. I had a very bad stay and absolutely wouldn't recommend the place. Being fluent in English or Italian wouldn't make me recommend it either.

The room was cosy, and the check-in process was interesting. It's really close to the train station, which is great. But the place is on the third floor with no lift, so carrying big, heavy bags is difficult. I wish they'd told us the floor and room number in advance too, since we had to work out which door link to click. The AC wasn't working either.

We could leave our luggage past checkout after asking, and getting in was very easy. The host communicated really well. The room was modern, comfortable, and very clean, in a quiet area. It's close to the train station and about a 15-minute walk from the city center. I definitely recommend it! ❤️💯
