Hotel Colomba d'Oro sits right in the heart of Verona, just minutes from the Arena and close to shops, restaurants and other things to see. Its history gives the place real charm, while the modern comforts are all there. The restaurant was delicious and had a cosy atmosphere. We found the rooms spacious, beautifully designed and among the most comfortable we've stayed in while travelling through Italy. The lighting was especially well done, in the bathroom and throughout the room. Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained during our stay. From our arrival, the staff were warm, attentive and personable. The hotel exceeded every expectation and was a huge part of why Verona stole our hearts. We can't wait to return, and highly recommend it.

We keep coming back to this former monastery when we visit Verona for the opera. This was our fifth stay, and the hotel's magical atmosphere and old time charm still appeal to us. It's very quiet despite being only a short walk from busy Piazza Bra, and there's a garage inside the hotel building. From here, the Verona Arena is just a few steps away, close enough to walk to in high heels. Restaurants are nearby, and Via Mazzini's brand stores and practically all the city's main sights are within easy walking distance. The staff have always been kind and helpful, making each visit comfortable. Superior rooms are spacious, with a large bathroom, dressing room and comfortable bed. We'll gladly return on our next trip to Verona.

I stayed at Colomba d'Oro for a business trip and found the room comfortable and well set up for work, with a useful workspace and a very comfortable bed. It was spacious and thoughtfully equipped. The staff were professional, hospitable and accommodating, always attentive to guest satisfaction. I really enjoyed the visit and look forward to coming back. I'd recommend the hotel for business or leisure.

The setting was gorgeous, and the rooms were beautiful. Staff were helpful and attentive throughout. When we couldn't find transport to the Ferrari museum in Modena, about an hour away, they found a car and driver for us within minutes. Can't say enough good things about the hotel.
