A nice place!

The bar and garden are excellent, and the pool is still very pleasant even though it could use some renovation. With Erica and Omar managing the place, it’s finally back to its former glory. It’s a great option for families or groups, and you can have a barbecue near the pool. Fantastic, keep up the good work! 👍🏻

The location is nice enough, but the place is poorly maintained and crawling with mosquitoes and other insects. The pool water looked yellowish, and the pool itself is far too small for the number of people the park can hold. Customer service was basically nonexistent. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and it seemed pretty clear that making a profit was their only concern. The barbecue grills were black, filthy, and full of dirt, with no equipment provided. It cost €70 for a barbecue for 7 people, without equipment or proper grill hygiene. The price was also exorbitant at €10 from 2:45 PM to 7 PM, and it changed depending on what the owners preferred. I’m extremely disappointed and strongly advise against considering this place.

I gave one star because the property has a lot of potential: it’s out in the countryside but still very close to Verona. We booked two nights and left after the first. After a late return from Gardaland, we arrived to find the place almost completely dark, with no lighting or signs. I rang the bell to work out how to get in. A woman came to open the gate, which was meant to be automatic but wasn’t. It was heavy and dirty too. She showed us to reception, just a small room with a little table and a piece of furniture behind it. The entrance and furnishings were very basic. The room was worse. The walls were dirty, there was only one bedside table, and the outlet and light on one side didn’t work. The shower head wouldn’t stay on the wall, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the old air conditioning was set low and couldn’t be adjusted. After lying there for a while, we practically had to open the window because it was so hot. We also couldn’t get back in after 11:30 PM because the door was locked and nobody was there to let us in. Breakfast was four croissants, a few packets of jam and Nutella, a big jar of broken biscuits, freshly squeezed orange juice, and homemade coffee or cappuccino. We chose to eat in the garden, where there was one long table under an open veranda roof, in the sun. On the other side was an old plastic table that wasn’t very clean, but at least it was shaded and cooler. I only saw one staff member, the woman who gave us just the essential answers. The owner later arrived and seemed indifferent, and didn’t say much. We won’t return, and I strongly advise against staying here. I know the photos can give the wrong impression and the price is lower than at other hotels, but I’d rather pay a little more than waste money. Even €80 is too much for a place like this. It’s a shame because the park is beautiful and large, but poorly maintained. There’s also a pool, which I didn’t use, though I understand it’s open to people besides hotel guests. I wouldn’t repeat this experience.
