Cristina Apartment

A great place. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We had a really good three-night stay. Cristina was extremely kind, always available when we needed anything, and even provided a parking space. The apartment was cozy, spotless, and well furnished, with everything we needed, including towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV. It’s about eight minutes from the city center, with plenty of buses running until late, and it’s very convenient for Borgo Trento hospital. I’d highly recommend it for a Verona visit, especially if you need to go to the hospital.

We stayed three nights, having picked it because the listing described an apartment that suited our needs. In practice, it was split into two double bedrooms with bathrooms, shared with other guests. With strangers in the house, the kitchen wasn’t really usable, and we could hear them arguing all night. I’d suggest Mrs. Cristina charge more and rent the place to friends or families instead.

We’re a couple from Sicily and stayed six nights. The apartment itself wasn’t bad, with a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, but our experience with the owners was awful. They started out pleasant, then made their prejudice against southerners clear, including through private insults. They never changed our sheets or towels or cleaned the room. One day, the owner came into the house without warning, took a photo of the sink after we’d left a few crumbs and two dirty dishes for a few minutes, and sent it to his wife. She hadn’t come to welcome us, but immediately called in a harsh, raised voice and wouldn’t let us respond. She called us dirty and uncivilized, said we didn’t deserve to stay in "Cristina's palace," and asked us several times to leave, even though we’d paid well in cash on the first day. The owner also accused us of being thieves, saying we’d stolen a bowl. I run a B&B myself, and believe guests should come first and be treated with respect above everything else.
