We’d book again if we came with a large group. The apartment was spacious and worked perfectly as a base, even though it was minimal. Its central spot put restaurants and bars close by, but it was still quiet. The beds were hard and there weren’t enough pillows, though that’s down to personal preference.

We loved the apartment and its pretty outlook, right in the center. The main drawback was nighttime noise. People chatted outside a lovely little wine bar just around the corner until the early hours, and the refuse collection started early with lots of crashing bottles. We could hear it even with the windows and shutters closed. If noise isn’t a concern, I’d recommend it and would return.

The staff were easy to reach, kind and quick to respond throughout, and reception was only a three-minute walk from the apartment. Still, a few things kept our five-night stay from feeling like five stars. The apartment is right in Verona’s historic center, in a beautiful old building, with the main sights an easy 5-10 minute walk away and plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s tastefully decorated in a traditional but elegant style, thoughtfully renovated and spacious. The bedroom is set apart from the entrance and living area, which gave us a bit of privacy, and having the bathroom and toilet separate was especially convenient. Despite facing a small street, the apartment was surprisingly noisy. A restaurant just below started service around 6-7 a.m., and there was also noticeable street noise late at night. Sometimes it felt almost like sitting outside. The kitchen is really only suited to light use, like making tea or coffee or preparing cold food. It isn’t suitable even for light cooking, and a teaspoon, small yogurt bowl and cutting board were missing. There wasn’t much storage either. The bedroom wardrobe was more decorative than useful, while the one in the living area was mostly taken up by the apartment’s own things. For a stay of several days, especially if you don’t want to live out of a suitcase, more wardrobe space would help.

The hosts were helpful and even kept our bags after checkout on the last day. The apartment was spotless, with great facilities, and had a fantastic location for getting around Verona and seeing the sights. It’s a lovely place, modern but still full of charm and character.

We spent three nights here and loved the apartment. The location was excellent, and the host sent clear instructions. Since it was ready, they also let us check in early.
