I really enjoyed my first visit to Verona. The room was beautiful and just right, and the staff were friendly. It was a quiet stay in a handy spot near the old town, with the train station also walkable, though not very close. I’d recommend it.

After booking ten months ahead for what I expected to be an unforgettable stay, I was told the property was overbooked and sent to a different hotel that looked nothing like this one. Don’t stay here.

6/10
The rooms were clean and quite nice, and breakfast was good, with some vegan choices. The location was great. Parking cost €20 per night. At breakfast, there was a lot of plastic packaging even though the rest of the cutlery was reusable, which seemed unnecessary. Staff were capable, but we felt they lacked warmth and hospitality. Noise was another problem: you could hear housekeeping clearly in the morning, and at night there were sounds from pipes or motors. The doors and windows may not have been soundproof, and there was quite a bit of noise outside the room.

There’s a luggage room, and breakfast is plentiful. The hotel has a stylish look and is in a great spot, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Comfortable rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great too.
