You’re right off the Main Street, just 2 minutes from Juliet’s house, in a really great location in the very center of Venice. The apartment is modern, stylish, and very nice. It took some effort to find because there was no sign, so it’s a good idea to contact the owner on what’s up before you arrive. The residential building is a little old-fashioned, but well maintained. The massive door outside helps you identify it, as shown in the picture.

They canceled my booking at 10pm the night before I was due to stay, saying they were overbooked. I’d already paid and still haven’t got the refund, which they say will take 7-12 working days. I had to book somewhere else on the day I arrived in Verona, and it cost me twice as much because it was last minute. Scam, do not use! Check the TripAdvisor reviews, they seem to do this often.

We loved being able to pop back to the apartment to recharge and head out again. It's right in the city center, so everything is just a few minutes' walk away. The place was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed, including A/C. We’d forgotten umbrellas, but found a few there and saved some money on buying new ones. The owner even guided us by car to the parking lot, and there was free coffee, tea, and fresh water. For us, it was worth the price.

The accommodation was much nicer than I expected for the price. It had a perfect location, lots of space, a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. I shared that bathroom with another couple from Australia. Tea and coffee were provided, and the owners were lovely and so helpful. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend.
