La Nuova Corte Rooms

We found the place tucked into a peaceful neighborhood, even though central Verona is close by. The rooms felt spacious and newly renovated, with a really good shower and air conditioning. Secure parking right there made things easy, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus Pasticceria Lecce on the next street for breakfast. The Arena and Castle Vecchio are close too. Our one-night visit was great, and I can see it working even better for a longer stay. We'd come back.

The power went out only about 10 minutes after we arrived, at 8pm, so everything went completely dark. There was a backup light, at least.

Getting around was easy from this roomy place, with the main attractions and plenty of little restaurants and bars within walking distance. Self check-in was simple, and the room was clean overall, with decent Wi-Fi. But there was just one towel per person, no smaller ones for your face or hands. Noise was a real issue: we could hear neighbors talking, dogs barking, and the garage door going up and down. Staff help was slow too. You can reach them on WhatsApp, but replies or solutions took ages.

The stay itself got off to a smooth start: WhatsApp communication before arrival was great, check-in and checkout were both easy, and the room was nicely decorated in a good location. They also suggested an affordable parking lot. After leaving, though, I realized we might have forgotten something. I asked on WhatsApp the next day, then by email, and tried WhatsApp again, but heard nothing. When I called, they said they'd check and get back to me. No word came, and my second call was cut off. Two days later I finally got a WhatsApp saying, “we didn't found, sorry.” I would've liked more service and follow-through.
