Good value for money, with a big apartment-style room and furniture that’s been kept in good shape. It was nice and cozy, though the shower was tiny and overflowed easily. The door also felt a bit flimsy and could use a better lock.

Beware, this B&B is involved in credit card fraud! B&B Palazzo Sant’Antonio in Verona helped B&B Casetta Di Bacco in Sicily make two fraudulent charges to my card, totaling almost $1500 in early April 2019. I had NEVER had any contact at all with the B&B in Sicily. On the very day I booked B&B Palazzo in Verona through Travelocity using my credit card, B&B Casetta di Bacco tried to charge my card. That attempt was declined because the security code was wrong, but two weeks later they successfully made two charges. I found a phone number for that B&B through Google.it, since none was listed on TripAdviser, Travelocity, or any other booking site, but the number DOES NOT WORK. Meanwhile, I cancelled my reservation with B&B Palazzo before the penalty period ended and still hadn’t received a refund more than two weeks later. Travelocity told me I wouldn’t get one until May. This is a fraudulent establishment!!!

We were told by the person who gave us the keys that checkout was at 4 p.m. But at 11 a.m. on checkout day, they knocked and said we had to leave immediately. When I explained what we’d been told, the lady called us liars. I asked for time to pack, but they insisted we go at once and kicked us out on the spot.

The location was good, and that’s the one star. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this B&B. The so-called breakfast was a bad joke, the room hadn’t been cleaned, and there was no bathroom in it. The bathroom was shared with other rooms on the floor. I gave one star because you can’t give zero.
