It’s a quiet place, and the host was efficient. The center is about a 15-minute walk away. Although Google lists it as a bed and breakfast, it’s just a room. The courtyard could be more useful, but there are no chairs, and apparently you can’t bring your own breakfast into the accommodation anyway. From the airport, I’d take the shuttle bus instead of a taxi, which is silly expensive. The station is only a 10-minute walk from the accommodation.

Corte Merighi is on a quiet side street, with no traffic noise, and the air-conditioned rooms were very comfortable. The host was charming, the rooms spotless, and breakfast was very nice. It’s about 10 minutes from the town center in one direction and from the train and coach stations in the other, which is handy for trips to Lake Garde and Venice. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The courtyard had plenty of midges and mosquitoes, so bring lots of insect repellent. The aircon was a bit noisy overnight too. Otherwise, all good. It’s basic but clean accommodation, around a 15-20 minute walk from the main area.

The host was great, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the historic center.
