La Terrazza su Verona

There was a hair on one of the pillows when we arrived, and the fridge was dirty. We weren’t comfortable and didn’t trust that the bedsheets were clean. The host initially dealt with it very professionally, but later complained about us in her Airbnb review. That made me feel she couldn’t take criticism, wasn’t professional after all, and had lied in her review of me. I had left the hair and fridge out of my own Airbnb review because she’d been nice at first and I didn’t want to hurt the good rating she seemed to care about so much. After reading what she wrote about me and my girlfriend, I regret that. I’d tell people to leave an honest rating, because complaining here may get you a bad review from the host. For example, she said the fridge wasn’t dirty, though it was, and she admitted that when she came to clean it. She also complained about having to change the towels that had been on the bed with the hair, even though she had offered to do it herself. The shower also sprayed water in every direction because it was so clogged with limescale.

The cleaning was especially thorough, and the apartment was fantastic all around. It’s spacious, with vintage but stylish decor and thoughtful touches. The bathroom and bed both felt unusual and striking. Yemmi made everything easy, from the messages before arrival to the welcome and the details ready for me. I highly recommend the layout and location. Thanks for hosting me, Yemmi. This will be my regular choice in Verona whenever I’m back.

The terrace is lovely, with a 360° view of Verona. The apartment is on the top floor of an elegant building in a semi-central area, and the building has an elevator, though you still need to take the last flight of stairs to reach the apartment. It’s furnished well, clean, comfortable, quiet, and has what you need for a pleasant visit. A good fit for tourists or a short business trip.

The owner was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The apartment is clean, nicely looked after, and close to Verona's historic center, with elegant furnishings and a great terrace with a barbecue. There’s garage parking available, and you can rent bikes if you want. Highly recommended!
