A peaceful, clean stay, and the hospitality was wonderful. The lady helped me with my car trouble, which meant we could carry on with our holiday. I can recommend this B&B to anyone.

A warm, cozy place in a perfect location.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed. Although this B&B is on a busy road, the room was remarkably quiet and well soundproofed. It was spacious, warm, clean, and had all the amenities. Breakfast was generous and varied, and you can have it on the terrace when the weather allows. Luciana can also handle special requests if you mention them when booking. Getting here is easy, with parking right outside, buses from Verona Porta Nuova, and Porta Vescovo within walking distance. The place sits just outside Verona's old walls, only a few minutes on foot from the center. Luciana was fantastic, with suggestions for places to see and itineraries. For the price, it's hard to beat in Verona. A little slice of paradise, and I'll be back!

The breakfast area was freezing, with just one radiator that barely worked, right by the front door where cold air kept coming in. It was like that on our arrival night too, and the next morning it was -4 outside. Guests should be able to sit somewhere warm and peaceful, not eat breakfast in three layers. Breakfast itself felt skimpy: three slices of bread, two frozen croissants, five little jam packets, two Nutella packets, two small pieces of cheese, and two slices of ham. No juice or butter, either. Heating the croissants seemed like a huge request. The moka coffee, hot milk, and hot water for tea were fine. The room was large, with high ceilings, but the bathroom was closed off and freezing while the room was warm. Had the heat pump only been turned on an hour earlier? The garden should be the B&B's calling card, but it was cluttered, with things left in bags. It felt like entering a horror movie. It should be tidied even in winter. I picked this B&B for personal reasons, and the convenient location was exactly what I needed. Luciana, you're kind, and thanks for welcoming us despite our late arrival. We didn't pay a lot, but next time I'd rather pay Booking.com its €4.00 commission than save that through disintermediation.
