The luggage storage area didn’t have any security, which made me uneasy since anyone could have picked up our bag. There weren’t many plug sockets in the room either: none by the desk, and the one on the headboard wasn’t usable while you were in bed. The rest was a good stay and good value. Check-in was easy, staff answered all our questions, and we left our bags when we arrived at 11AM before going out to explore. The location was fabulous, five minutes on foot from the Arena and Christmas market, and under 15 minutes from the Roman theatre. Our room was across the road, on a side street with less traffic noise than the hotel. It was warm, roomy, and had good wifi. Breakfast at the hotel was decent, with plenty of choices and efficient staff.

The reception team at the Mastino Hotel were really helpful, and breakfast was fine. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction on our floor, leaving the hallway noisy and dusty during the day. Work stopped at night, but the air conditioning wasn’t working. Reception lent us a cooling fan, which helped.

The location made it easy to get everywhere, and I really enjoyed my stay. Our room was away from the main hotel and had a balcony. Breakfast was good too.

Just 300 meters from Verona arena, so the location is perfect. Private parking is available for visitors too.
