The supermarket is just across the street, and the apartment is handy for the sights: the Arena is around 800 m away and the station about 1.2 km. There’s a lift, though it’s easy to miss, so look for it before hauling your bags upstairs like we did. Each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom, with one double bed and two single beds in each. The washing machine was a real plus, and the air conditioning handled the heat well when it was over 30 degrees in Verona.

I stayed in the first-floor apartment with a balcony, facing the inner courtyard. It had the things I needed, and checking in was easy. There's a supermarket across the road, and the bus stop for Lake Garda is 100 metres away. The train station is about a 15-minute walk.
