Guilia, the owner, was very helpful, and the apartment had everything we needed, including a parking space. It's in a small, quiet block set back from the main road, about a 20-minute walk from the storico centro. Highly recommended.

We'd booked a house with a garden because we were bringing our two large dogs for an international dog show at the Verona fair. At the last minute, we ended up in a third-floor attic in the city center instead. The apartment itself was poorly heated, with radiators that didn't work and air conditioning that only blew cold air. We slept in a room at 11 degrees, and the managers didn't give us the help we needed to sort it out. The furnishings weren't the issue, but the service was terrible. I wouldn't deal with these managers.

It used to be a welcoming, historic family restaurant. Now Gii Ani feels more like a large gym room, with hurried waiters and no sense of history. The rice had commercial tastasal, the price was high, and the dessert seemed to come from a large retailer. Disappointing.
