Breakfast is served at a café across the road: coffee, a croissant, a small sandwich, and juice. It was a nice bite before catching the train, and a good spot for people-watching. The location sits between the city center and the trains. Our garden-facing room was quiet, and the first-floor access was easy. The manager greeted us warmly and explained things thoroughly. Just be careful with your meeting time, he won't wait around. The room was spacious, clean, warm, simply furnished, and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. There's an Aldi five minutes away for food, since there's no milk in the room. Thanks, Verona, for a wonderful few days!

The room was in awful shape for what we were charged. It was old, dirty, and uncomfortable, with a blocked sink, a toilet that barely worked, and no hot water at all. A shower was impossible unless you like freezing cold water. The bedroom looked decades out of date, and the terrible bed left me with a serious backache after just one night. The owner was rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived, and still overcharged us for a room that should honestly be condemned. For the price, this place feels like a complete scam. Nothing was as promised!!!!!! One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I would never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The room is very large, which was the only good part. Wi-Fi was terrible, with our devices often dropping the connection or failing to open websites. Room service is minimal, and you need to put out the sign clearly or nothing gets done. The so-called office is unattended unless you request someone in advance, and check-in after 7 pm isn't allowed. The hair dryer in the room didn't work properly either. Don't expect a standard hotel experience.

We felt like we weren't treated as customers, and I really regret choosing this place. It was a very bad experience on my Europe trip, not worth what I paid, and I wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of other hotels closer to the center than pepita. When I arrived at the office, a man who said he was michael scolded me. I'd thought he was Roberto, as that was the name written in the book in the room. He said I hadn't given my exact arrival time and that my booking was for two guests, not three. He charged me an extra 42€ for two nights and said I couldn't check in otherwise. I tried contacting Tiket.com/Expedia, but Michael wouldn't wait and kept saying he didn't have time for me. If you have big, heavy suitcases, this place is a pain: there are stairs before the small elevator, which only fits one person and one large suitcase. The room was dim, with lots of old books, and there were many mosquitoes and flies in the toilet. They kept coming out every day. You're not allowed to eat in the room, toiletries weren't fully provided, and breakfast across the street had limited choices.
