The coffee was good, but that's about all I can say for the place. Our guest got sick after eating the restaurant's pizza and had to go to hospital with what we believe was food poisoning. The hospital paperwork seemed clear, but nobody even apologized or checked how they were doing. When we asked for the manager, a rude receptionist claimed to be the manager, which they weren't, and the hotel denied responsibility. The walls were paper thin, it was very cold, and staff were rude. It was too expensive to risk our health there again, so we won't be staying again.

The breakfast was a letdown, with barely any choice and only tiny, hard rolls. Other hotel food was okay, though pricey for what it was. The location is on a main road in Verona's industrial area, about 500 meters from the highway, so there's a lot of noise. You can't tilt the window or leave it open for fresh air, and there's no way to air the room out while you're away. Our room was small and smelled musty, a bit like mothballs. The old double bed was really two single beds on wheels pushed together, and it wasn't comfortable. The accessible bathroom setup was odd too, with the shower positioned so you could wash your feet while sitting on the toilet. The waiter seemed cheerful, laughing loudly, but barely acknowledged us when we came into the restaurant. He went to eat with a colleague and kept watching television. Reception staff were unfriendly and seemed unmotivated. The room was awful and the service unacceptable. Prices were far too high for what you get, including Wi-Fi at €11/day. I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday stay.
