We spent four nights here as a budget base for seeing Verona and Lake Garda. Free parking and the chance to do laundry were handy, and the apartment is cheap, so I could live with the small shower and the street noise coming through even earplugs. But sleep was the main thing I needed after full days out, and the hard mattress left my whole back aching the first morning. Reception were polite when I asked for a refund, said they couldn't do that, but offered a free room upgrade. The new room was nicer, though the bed was still awful, so I had to stick it out for the next three nights. I don't really understand the high reviews; I'd call this place okay. If a very hard bed with no cushioning or support, the small shower, and traffic noise don't bother you, it might suit you. Next time I'd pay a little extra for somewhere nicer.

We arrived by train and found the bus made it easy to get here, with plenty of options for reaching the inner city. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very kind. The place was spacious, the air conditioning was great, and everything was clean when we arrived. A good place to stay for a while while visiting Verona.

We found the neighborhood reasonably quiet, and although the main sights are a 45-minute walk away, buses run regularly. Our spacious apartment had a separate, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and an outdoor balcony. Secure parking was available if needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and it made a big difference that we could check in early and leave our bags after checkout. It worked really well for us, and I'd recommend it.

The owners were easy to reach and made us feel welcome. The apartment suited our family well, with separate rooms for us and the children, good equipment, and a clean interior. We also had a parking space.
