Residenza Palazzo Negri

Luisa was incredibly helpful, sending links for everything we needed, helping with train tickets, arranging taxis, and recommending cafés and restaurants. One time we couldn’t make a booking on our computer. We didn’t realize she wasn’t in the office, but when we called, she came in to help, printed our tickets, and later texted to check we’d arrived. Next-level service, always with a smile and a lovely personality.

From our balcony in the Smeraldo room, we had a perfect view of the ancient Porta Borsari. Palazzo Negri made a wonderful base for exploring the Città Antica of Verona, and the owners were so welcoming. They also shared useful restaurant tips and ideas for special places to see nearby. Verona is a magical old city, and we’ll definitely come back.

The location was lovely and quiet, though the main piazzas and old town sights were only a few minutes away on foot. Our room was wonderfully quirky and the biggest bedroom we’ve ever had on our travels. It felt like stepping into another era, with original period details alongside all the modern comforts we needed. The staff were helpful even before we arrived, replying quickly and sharing local knowledge that made getting around much easier. We’d happily stay again.

After moving from Australia, I spent six weeks in the studio apartment at Residenza Palazzo Negri. Luisa was welcoming and helpful even before I got there, which made settling into a new country much easier. The apartment was roomy, comfortable, and well equipped, and its central spot in Verona was ideal for exploring. I’d happily recommend it :)
