We left early and got no refund at all. The staff were unfriendly, and the ground-floor apartment at "Verona Journeys" felt like a nightmare. Its terrace was dark and dirty, everything felt damp and sticky, the musty smell was unbearable, and the towels were filthy. This place was a complete rip-off. There are better places to stay in Verona, so avoid it.

We left early and didn’t get a single cent back. The owner, Licia, offered to clean the room after we complained, but that wouldn’t have fixed the mold. Her response to our concerns was rude and dismissive, and as paying guests we felt treated terribly. It seemed to us that the apartment had serious structural problems and needed a full renovation, yet the owner took no responsibility and appeared interested only in making money. The ground-floor apartment at "Verona Journeys" was damp and sticky, with clammy linens and towels, a dark, filthy terrace, and mold in the air that made it hard to breathe. The place felt oppressive and unhealthy, and we couldn’t stand spending even one night there. We found the hygiene unacceptable, as though the cleaning staff had no idea what hygiene meant. Unless you want mold, dampness, poor hospitality, and legal disputes, stay away. Verona has plenty of more affordable, pleasant places to stay. We regretted checking in.

The view is lovely, and you’re fairly close to the center. If you’re visiting in a rental car, check the transit zone first so you don’t get caught by the ZTL tax. The cleaning needs a lot of improvement.

A good experience. The place is well located, clean, and has plenty of thoughtful details, along with the basic services you need for rural tourism.
